Questions about billing, invoices and cancellation
How does billing work?
Monthly, every 6 months or yearly in advance – the invoice carries your company, address and VAT ID and is stored in your account automatically. All prices include VAT; with a valid EU VAT ID outside Austria the reverse charge applies at the same price, outside the EU no VAT is shown. Cancel any time for the end of the term – in your account or via the cancellation button.
How do I get invoices with company address and VAT ID?
When subscribing to Pro you enter your company, address and optionally your VAT ID. Every invoice – subscription start, renewals and extra reports – is generated automatically with these details, sent by e-mail and available as a PDF in your account under “Plan & invoices”. You can change the billing address there at any time.
I am based in the US or outside the EU – does this work?
Yes, Pro is available in every country. The price is the same everywhere and in euros; tax follows your billing address: in the EU your country’s VAT is included (reverse charge with a valid VAT ID), in Switzerland and the UK the local rate, in the US and all other countries no VAT is shown.
How do I cancel CheckValue Pro?
Any time for the end of the current term: in your account under “Plan & invoices” → “Manage subscription”, via the cancellation button at checkvalue.net/en/cancel or by e-mail. You receive a confirmation by e-mail; your reports remain usable until the end of the term. Subscriptions bought in the app are cancelled in the App Store or Google Play.
What happens when the quota is used up?
Every additional report then costs €0.99 incl. VAT – no plan change needed. Unused reports lapse at the end of the billing period; when you switch to a longer term, the new quota applies from the next period.
Is there a refund?
Within 14 days we fully refund unused reports of a pack and Pro terms that have not started. A report already generated is excluded because you agreed to immediate delivery. If no report arrives despite payment, or the wrong address was valued, we credit the report back or refund within 30 days.
Do I need a subscription as an owner?
No. Owners buy single reports, the 3-pack or the 10-pack – one-off, no subscription, no renewal. Purchased reports never expire. CheckValue Pro is for businesses only.
